ABOUT CAAA

CAAA was formed by regular person that could no longer stand by and watch animal abuse and mistreatment take place. However, doing it alone was impossible. What was needed is an army of like-minded individuals that would go to battle on behalf of all animals. An army that would give animals a voice. The bigger the army, the louder the voice.

Today, Citizens Against Animal Abuse is an army of people who share the same passion and work towards same cause. Animal welfare.

Our mission is to find loving, permanent homes for abandoned, stray, and abused animals all over US. From the moment these animals are rescued by our members they are no longer unwanted and are on the way to a loving forever home.

The founder of Citizens Against Animal Abuse has done rescues for years using her own personal funds. She knows all too well how much work it really is and how financially straining it can be. In the end it is all worth it. There is nothing more rewarding than watching an animal that was neglected, starved and abused shine bright with its new loving family and a forever home.

Animals rescued by Citizens Against Animal Abuse never see the inside of a cage once they are taken out of their previous environment. All rescued pets are placed in foster homes so they can rehabilitate in a loving environment and learn to trust humans again. By placing these animals in foster homes instead of confining them to small cages allows these pets to heal both, physically and mentally while receiving the love and attention they truly need in order to rehabilitate. Our adoption process allows us to place our rescues with just the right family.

Citizens Against Animal Abuse is always working hard to secure more funds and other resources in order to give a second chance at happiness to thousands of animals. We do not want a single pet left behind due to lack of money, vet care or supplies.

On our site you can join our organization, become a foster parent, adopt our pets or donate funds as well as pet food, supplies, vet services and etc. Our online library offers basic information on caring for various pets, rescue tips and other helpful information. Join us on our journey to stop all animals abuse. Just like any road to success, it has its ups and downs. Visit our site or our Facebook page to hear about our problems and road blocks, our success stories and joyful moments, updates and announcements. We truly hope to become your lifelong friend.

You can help our cause by joining our organization, becoming a foster parent or volunteer or by making a donation (funds or food and supplies) to support our mission. We really appreciate every can of food and every penny donated to us by our generous supporters. Together we can stop animal abuse.
